Saturday night at the White Lake Inn was a rip roaring blast with four or five birthday parties. You never know who is friends with whom. This weekend proved that no matter how much urban sprawl has impacted our fair city of Detroit, people will still travel. Especially for good rock n soul.
7 Million Jigawatts had the fortune of welcoming Atlantic Recording Artist Ty Stone to the stage to do rousing renditions of Honky Tonk Woman and Suspicious Minds. You may recall last fall, Ty graced the cover of Real Detroit Weekly with his search for “The Truth” – his band. You can take a listen to Ty on his official myspace page and see where he’s playing next. Never know, maybe 7MJ & Ty will grace a bill together somewhere in the future.
