Detroit MI – Dream Town Media presents a evening filled with music for a great cause. Come out and help bring a smile to a child this holiday season at the Toys for Tots fundraiser at the Hard Rock Café on Thursday December 10th.
Toys for Tots is a great and simple way to spread some holiday cheer this year to those who are less fortunate. This program which was founded in 1947 by the United States Marine Corp. is truly a blessing to those in need that may not be able to provide their children with a gift for the holidays. The mission is to collect new, unwrapped toys and to distribute them as gifts to needy children.
Friday November 20 at 1:30 EST, the 7 Million Jigawatts tune, “Angel Dressed to Kill” will be featured on Indie On Air! Jeff “Classic” Popka’s music podcast. You can listen here.

This Saturday night at BBoomers on Southfield Road in Allen Park, Hollywood Hosiery and Status Jeans present the Holiday Fashion Preview. They have a wonderful line of clothing that is created with the sensible budget conscious fashionista in mind. Their custom jeans are created for discriminating ladies and gentlemen of all sizes. Earlier this year they created a special “Love” line and shared a pair of the jeans with Melissa Behring, lead singer of 7 Million Jigawatts. She’s since worn them for several performances around Metro-Detroit and recommends them to friends. On Wednesday, Melissa is going on a recon mission to their store to find out what other goodies they’ll be bringing in on Saturday with their models. Get your music and art fix all at once. The 7 Million Jigawatts CD release party is sure to be a treat for your musical and art senses. Coming off their recently successful Pinktober National Kick Off party for the Hard Rock Café, the band is proud to introduce their new CD ‘Taking Flight.’ This new album features the single, “(I’ve Got You) Covered” from the 2010 Mustang advertising campaign. This new album of originals offers up an enticing mix of rock and soul that tantalizes you auditory senses. For visual stimulation look no further than your surroundings. Inside the Next Step Art studio there’s a wonderland of art from a number of talented artists. This event will be catered by Little Tree and sponsored by Glaceau, Detroit’s own Valentine Vodka and B. Nektar Meadery. Next Step Studios is located in fabulous Ferndale and is a hidden gem that is filled with amazing art.
Opening the evening will be Marcus Worx: local artist and musician. Most recently he has had his art featured in the Erotica Ball, the Marquis de Sade Ball, and had a music and gallery showing at the Future II Gallery. He will also be doing a live painting while 7 Million Jigawatts performs.
Come be part of this unique evening that will stimulate your senses. The event begins at 7:30 pm and your $10 donation at the door or online will get you the 7 Million Jigawatts new release ‘Taking Flight.’

Saturday October 31, Bailey’s Pub in Troy is hosting a Halloween Costume Party.
For one night only, 7 Million Jigawatts will transform into the favorite Saturday morning cartoon characters from Scooby Doo & the Mystery, Inc investigative team.
How will the 7MJ Mystery, Inc. Characters play out?
The band has been playing rock-paper-scissors to determine who will be which character.
