This Saturday night at BBoomers on Southfield Road in Allen Park, Hollywood Hosiery and Status Jeans present the Holiday Fashion Preview. They have a wonderful line of clothing that is created with the sensible budget conscious fashionista in mind. Their custom jeans are created for discriminating ladies and gentlemen of all sizes. Earlier this year they created a special “Love” line and shared a pair of the jeans with Melissa Behring, lead singer of 7 Million Jigawatts. She’s since worn them for several performances around Metro-Detroit and recommends them to friends. On Wednesday, Melissa is going on a recon mission to their store to find out what other goodies they’ll be bringing in on Saturday with their models. Saturday October 31, Bailey’s Pub in Troy is hosting a Halloween Costume Party.
For one night only, 7 Million Jigawatts will transform into the favorite Saturday morning cartoon characters from Scooby Doo & the Mystery, Inc investigative team.
How will the 7MJ Mystery, Inc. Characters play out?
The band has been playing rock-paper-scissors to determine who will be which character.

Much love to the Armstrong’s who hosted an amazing
Dream Cruise party. The crowd cruised in their classic 1975 Corvettte’s, old Model A Ford’s and classic Dodge R/T’s. They stuffed themselves with
Chicken Shack and drained the keg before the sun went down. 7MJ performed an evening infused with rock n soul music.
The Motor City Rah Rah’s stopped by to get the party rolling.
Vivian George, local singer songwriter and Julie Hecker from
Punk Fitness Detroit, danced with the band and had the hosts on their toes.

Jake & Melissa met Jack Tempchin (All Ready Gone, Peaceful Easy Feeling), heard Jeff Lynne play on one guitar string and met all kinds of amazing people.
Now home in Detroit, they’re back to work. Rockin’ out all weekend at the White Lake Inn, we finished up the vocal tracks on The Way Down. Now off to Big Sky tomorrow to do final the mixes. We can’t wait for you to hear them.

Jake & Melissa are representing at this awesome experience to connect songwriters, musicians, industry types of all kinds!
This is an amazing experience. Yesterday, we met Billy Steinberg (True Colors, Like a Virgin, etc), Craig Weisman (Big Loud Shirt Industries) and saw an awesome interview with Ann & Nancy Wilson (Heart). There’s so much more that happened, we just can’t write about it all.

The band will be in full swing next Friday night at 5th Avenue Billiards. Make sure you stop out and hear some of the new tunes.
