Friday night, the Respectables join 7MJ to entertain the crowd and Saturday night is a three band bill featuring the Respectables and Joey Gaydos Jr Band. Last weekend it was just like being at Put In Bay, there was a Jack Ziemann sighting sitting near a docked boat, Duff was up to his old tricks with a Mother's Day "Ball" Handling Contest and 7MJ didn't have to take a ferry to get there! That Put In Bay Lanes in Lakewood sure does it up right. Can't wait till next time. If you were not in Farmington last night with 7MJ, you missed out! Three solid blockbuster sets of rock music kept the room bouncing until the bitter end. The band was hot and the crowd was loud! Feeding the energy with their own funky rock, the 7MJ original, "Yer Grrrl" is becoming quite the dance floor hit. They were dragging people out by their hair at the end of the night. The staff and atmosphere at Cowley's are top notch. After two nights of partying it up at the Monterey Music Cafe, 7MJ is thankful for a Sunday afternoon off! Saturday night at the Monterey was a blast! A late night appearance of the Warthogs led to some crazy antics. Bikers came from as far away as Upstate New York. The local Detroit contingent poured into the MMC and straight onto the dance floor. They were a fun rowdy group increasing the energy in the room by about 7 Million Jigawatts! The Hollywood A listers have left the D. Now that we've recovered from the Super Bowl fever infecting our fair city. It's time to get back to our roots with some good old Motor City Rock n Roll shows.
